A brief introduction to water bearing quality identification of antiwear hydraulic oil

Hydraulic oil is the lifeline of engineering machinery. When hydraulic oil fails, the hydraulic system of engineering machinery will not work normally, so we should check the quality of the hydraulic oil of the engineering machinery often. Do not wait until the problem arises, then think of how to solve it. This paper mainly introduces the simple identification method of hydraulic oil quality.
1. Identification of water content in hydraulic oil
1. Visual method: if the oil is milky white and cloudy, it means that the oil contains a lot of water.
2, burning method: use clean, dry cotton yarn or cotton paper to dip a little oil to be detected, and then ignite it with fire. If we find the crack or flash phenomenon of "crackle", it means that the oil contains more moisture.
Two. Identification of impurities in hydraulic oil
1. Sense discrimination: there are obvious metal particles suspended in the oil, and the presence of fine particles is directly felt when the fingers are twisted and pinched. In the light, if there is a reflective flash point, the hydraulic components have been seriously worn; if a large amount of metal debris is deposited at the bottom of the tank, it indicates that the main oil pump or motor has been seriously worn.
2, heating identification: for low viscosity hydraulic oil can be directly placed in clean, dry test tube heating heating. If there is precipitation or suspended solids in the test tube, it is indicated that the oil contains mechanical impurities.
3, filter paper identification: for a high viscosity hydraulic oil, it can be diluted with clean gasoline and filtered with clean filter paper. If a large amount of mechanical impurities (metal powder) is found on the filter paper, the hydraulic components are seriously worn out.
4, sound identification: if the whole hydraulic system has large, intermittent noise and vibration, and the main oil pump makes a "buzzing" sound, and even the piston rod "crawling" phenomenon, the liquid surface of the tank, the tubing outlet or the transparent liquid level, will find a large number of foam. This situation indicates that the hydraulic fluid has been immersed in a large amount of air.
Three. Identification of the change of viscosity of hydraulic oil
1, glass plate tilt method: take a clean glass plate, put it level, and drop a drop of hydraulic oil drop on the glass, and drop a drop of standard hydraulic oil (the same brand new hydraulic oil) next, and then tilt the glass plate, and pay attention to the observation: if the flow velocity and distance of the oil are compared with the standard oil When the liquid is large, it shows that its viscosity is lower than that of the standard oil. Conversely, its viscosity is higher than that of the standard oil.
2, glass bottle inversion method: the measured hydraulic fluid and the standard oil liquid in the two size and length of the same transparent glass bottle (do not be too full), then plug the two bottle mouth. Put the two bottles side by side together, and quickly put the two bottles upside down. If the bubble of the measured hydraulic oil rises faster in the bottle than the standard oil in the bottle, the viscosity of the liquid is lower than the standard oil viscosity. On the contrary, the viscosity of the liquid is higher than that of the standard oil, and the viscosity is similar if the speed of the two kinds of oil bubbles rise close.
